The RIHF and Ministry of Sport held a conference

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF), together with the Ministry of Sport, held the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Interdisciplinary Conference with international participation. The "Current Problems and Prospects Concerning the Development of the System of Ice Hockey Training" topic was the theme of the conference.

RIHF president Vladislav Tretiak addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech. In his speech, he noted that the event is an excellent platform for the exchange of ideas and opinions between representatives of various areas of the sporting community. Vladislav also drew attention to the fact that in 2021, the global ice hockey community managed to successfully adapt to the difficult epidemiological conditions with major international competitions still being staged.

The conference was attended by more than 700 specialists from 70 regions of the Russian Federation in an online format. Furthermore, the event was of interest to international ice hockey community: a representative of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation presented a report, and representatives of the ice hockey federations of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan actively participated in the discussions.
