The Red Machine National Development Program is being introduced in Irkutsk

The program has been developed by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF with the support of Nornickel.

In Irkutsk, the RIHF signed an agreement with HC Baikal, which will now use the developments of the Red Machine National Development Program concerning its operations with the training of young players.

RIHF specialists worked in Irkutsk over the course of three days. In addition to the signing of a cooperation agreement, the key events were the presentation of the Red Machine National Development Program and the training of Baikal players. Pavel Sheruimov, the head of the Development and Implementation Department of Red Machine National Development Program and Andrei Ivanov, the head of the Implementation Department of the Red Machine National Development Program Development and Implementation Department, spoke in detail about the program's philosophy and main principles, while also revealing the features of improving the training of players aged between 11 and 16.

Master classes were conducted by RIHF specialists both on and off the ice, with Baikal players receiving the chance to work according to the methods of the Red Machine National Development Program. Furthermore, the technical skills of players between the ages of five and eight were tested.

Moreover, the RIHF held a special round table for coaches from Irkutsk, revealing in detail all aspects and features of the use of innovative developments of the Red Machine National Development Program in the process of coaching young players.
