The management group of the senior Russian national team can reveal the list of players from the National Hockey League (NHL) who will participate at the 2021 IIHF World Championship:

Defensemen: Artyom Zub (Ottawa Senators), Ivan Provorov (Philadelphia Flyers), Nikita Zadorov (Chicago Blackhawks), Vladislav Gavrikov (Columbus Blue Jackets), Nikita Nesterov (Calgary Flames).

Forwards: Mikhail Grigorenko (Columbus Blue Jackets), Alexander Barabanov (San Jose Sharks).

Furthermore, the management group is waiting for information from Ottawa concerning the health of defenseman Nikita Zaitsev.

Defenseman Nikolai Knyzhov, who was called up to the national team, requires an operation, so he cannot participate at the World Championship.

Forward Pavel Buchnevich can't play at the World Championship, as he is without a contract for the 2021/2022 season. The management group understands his situation, wishing him success while counting on him for the future.

Defenseman Dinar Khafizullin has left the team as a result of receiving an injury during the Euro Hockey Tour match against Sweden in the Czech Republic. The management group wishes Dinar health and a speedy recovery!
