Avangard Omsk have won the Russian championship

Avangard Omsk, who defeated CSKA Moscow 4-2 in the final series of the 2020/2021 KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs, have consequently been crowned Russian champions for the second time in their history.

They had previously won the domestic title 17 years ago.

CSKA have claimed the silver medal, while Ak Bars Kazan have earned the bronze.

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation congratulates Avangard's players, coaches and fans with their triumph!
