Despite restrictive measures caused by the coronavirus infection COVID-19, 2.6 million foreigners received medical services in Russian health institutions in 2020.

The most popular medical services profiles are dentistry, traumatology, ophthalmology and cardiology.

Among CIS countries, citizens of Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Tajikistan and Armenia most often applied to the Russian Federation’s medical organizations; European countries were represented by the citizens of Latvia, Serbia, Lithuania, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy.
