Mikhail Abramov will miss the quarter-finals of the 2021 WJC

The IIHF Disciplinary Panel has issued a one-game suspension to Russian national team forward Mikhail Abramov for slew-footing in the match against Sweden.
It is a violation of IIHF Official Rule 160.
Furthermore, German national team Justin Volek has also received a one-match suspension for violating IIHF Official Rule 127 - cross-checking.
The pair will miss the upcoming 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship quarter-final between Russia and Germany which is scheduled to take place at 20:00 Moscow time on January 2.
