Russia W team for the President's Sporting Club Cup

A training camp for the senior Russian women's national team has started in Novogorsk ahead of the upcoming President's Sporting Club Cup.

These following players and coaches are involved:

Goalkeepers: Darya Gredzen (Biryusa), Valeria Tarakanova (Agidel), Alyona Ashina (Dynamo Neva).

Defenders: Liana Ganeeva (Dynamo Neva), Polina Arkhipova, Irina Zhigulina (both Biryusa), Anna Shabanova, Maria Batalova, Alexandra Kozyr, Angelina Makhmutova (all Agidel), Nina Pirogova, Elena Provorova (both Sakhalin).

Forwards: Landysh Falyakhova, Elizaveta Shkalyova (both Tornado), Oksana Bratishcheva, Viktoria Kulishova, Ekaterina Likhachyova (all Sakhalin), Ekaterina Chegosheva (Dynamo Neva), Kseniya Tyurina, Olga Sosina, Alexandra Nesterova, Veronika Korzhakova, Elizaveta Rodnova (all Agidel), Sofya Krivosheeva, Oksana Mitrofanova, Afina Patmanidis (both Biryusa).

Interim head coach: Alexander Vedernikov.

Defensive coach: Mikhail Milyokhin.

Goalkeeping coach: Ivan Nikolayev.

Physical conditioning coach: Vitaly Ainetdinov.

The competition will take place between the 5th and 8th of November in Minsk, Belarus. Head coach Valeri Davletshin will miss the tournament because of health reasons.

Two friendly games against teams consisting of players born in 2009 will be staged against Belie Medvedi and MAX on the 30th and 31st of October respectively.

Attendance for all of the games at the Chizhovka Arena is free!
