2020 Channel One Cup. Russia - Czech Republic. A statistical look

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation analyses the statistics to emerge from the 2020 Channel One Cup between Russia and the Czech Republic at the Legends Park in Moscow:
- The second goal of the match, which was scored by forward Andrei Kuzmenko in the first period, was Russia's 400th against the Czech Republic in history. It took our team 146 games to achieve this;
- Fellow forward Nikita Soshnikov made his 25th appearance for the senior national team. So far, he boasts seven (4+3) points;
- Defenseman Dmitry Samorukov (one assist) and forward Sergei Tolchinsky made their senior international debuts;
- Andrei Kuzmenko has now tallied 10 goals in 16 Euro Hockey Tour matches, beating Mikhail Grigorenko's previous record of 10 markers in 19 games;
- Forward Anton Burdasov scored his maiden goal for the senior national team at the 27th time of asking. Furthermore, for the first time in 13 matches, forward Maxim Mamin hit the jackpot in the Euro Hockey Tour. Forwards Dmitry Voronkov and Pavel Karnaukhov dished out their first assists for the senior national team in the 4:1 triumph.
