- To be honest, this was the easiest game of the lot for me. I am feeling better with every passing match. The toughest game was against Finland, as I hadn't played for a long time before that fixture. What will this Karjala Cup give me for the future? It was a great experience for me and all of us! - The main thing is that we won this competition. It was nice to play against senior players, this will help us ahead of the World Junior Championship. Igor Larionov found the right words ahead of every game. The Russian national team always plays to win. We tried to stuck to the plan and we managed to win.
