Vladislav Tretyak about Russian Women's Championship of the 2013-2014 season

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation President Vladislav Tretyak commented on the start of Women's Championship: “This season is special for us. Before the start of Olympic Hockey tournament it’s important for everyone to demonstrate the best results in regular championship and reach a peak form.

There are traditionally strong centers of women’s hockey in our country. It is pleasant that championship’s geography is gradually expanding. Strong clubs - a guarantee of a powerful national team. Success of our team on the international arena depends on the level of domestic championship. I wish you an interesting competition, fair play and excellent results!"
