2019 World Junior Championship. Switzerland - Russia

In the third match of the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship in Canada, the under 20 Russian national team will take on Switzerland aiming to keep the winning streak going.

Yesterday, the Russian players trained in these following lines:

Goalkeepers: Kochetkov, Miftakhov, Tarasov.
Whites: Samorukov, Rubinchik - Denisenko, Kravtsov, Kostin.
Blues: Alexeev, Romanov - Kovalenko, Shen, Starkov.
Reds: Il. Morozov, Zhuravlyov - Muranov, Galimov, Slepets.
Greens: Kalabushkin, Olshanskiy - Marchenko. Iv. Morozov, Podkolzin.
Blacks: Khovanov, Shashkov.

After the training session, it was decided that forward Nikita Shashkov will be registered as the final player in the roster. As a result, defenseman Evgeny Kalabushkin and forward Alexander Khovanov have left the team.

So far, Russia have been perfect at the competition, defeating Denmark 4:0 and the Czech Republic 2:1. For their part, Switzerland lost to the Czechs 1:2 in overtime and Canada 2:3, however they thrashed the Danes 4:0.

Puck drop is scheduled for 04:00 Moscow time. Match TV will broadcast live in Russia.
