Russian Women's Club Teams Championship 2014-2015 started on September, 3 with 3 matches.

This season 9 teams will participate the Competition:

• Komet (Moscow region)
• Arctic-Univercity (Ukhta)
• Spartak-Mercury (Ekaterinburg)

Vice President of Russian Ice Hockey Fedderation Nikolai Uryupin said welcome speech to Championship's participants:

- Today Russian Women's Championship starts. Despite the fact that two teams won't take part in the tournament (SKIF-2 has an organization reason, because will play in  Junior Championship, and Tyumen team because of financial problems) there are a lot of positive moments. Tournament passes in post-olympic year. Despite the pending task and 6^th position, our National Women's Team won the sympathy of audience and tv audience. The Team was emotional, with beautiful goals and victories. First time our general public sees that women's hockey is spectacular, very interesting and in some moments is more interesting than men's hockey. Indeed, the lack of struggle and body-checks allows highly skilled players to show a proper hockey.
