Alexei Zhamnov: "The main thing is to stick to the game plan"

On Saturday morning, the senior Russian national team trained ahead of playing Switzerland at the 2018 World Championship.

The players trained in these following lines:

Goalkeepers: Koshechkin, Shestyorkin, Sorokin.

Reds: Gavrikov, Kiselevich - Gusev, Datsyuk, Kaprizov.

Whites: Nesterov, Zaitsev - Grigorenko, Anisimov, Buchnevich.

Blues: Yakovlev, Bereglazov - Dadonov, Andronov, Mamin.

Yellows: Tryamkin - Barabanov, Kablukov, Shalunov, Soshnikov, Mikheev.

Russian national team senior coach Alexei Zhamnov:

- Dinar Khafizullin missed today's training session, hopefully he will feel better tomorrow. Our starting goalkeeper today? Vasily Koshechkin. Switzerland play in a Canadian style of ice hockey, they like to compete aggressively. If we stick to our game plan, everything should be fine. Ilya Mikheev will be the 13th forward. On the powerplay, our guys have good opportunities to score, but they're not using them. We have been working on this at training.
