Russian national team coach Alexei Zhamnov:

- It's good that we trained at the main arena, we will know what to expect from the ice. This was only the first day, things will improve.

- Russia were the first team to test the ice.

- It's hard being the first on the rink, it's clear that the ice is still wet. Hopefully, the ice quality will improve.

- Why did you train immediately after flying to Denmark? Didn't the players feel tired?

- No, everything's fine. Personally, I think training immediately after making the trip is a good thing. The guys had a good training session.

- How many players will be registered tomorrow?

- We're not planning on announcing anything, we have time to think and make decisions. The roster won't be fully decided until two hours before the first match.

- How ready are Nikita Gusev and Kirill Kaprizov?

- We are waiting on the data provided by the doctors. We will see how things work out.
