In the deciding 2018 ALROSA Cup match, the Russian Olympic team will take on Austria in Saint Petersburg.
The Russian team picked up two wins in the opening two matches, defeating Norway 4:2 in the opening game with Denis Zernov, Vitaly Kravtsov, Alexei Vasilevskiy and Artyom Ilenko scoring the goals. In the second match, Alexei Vasilevskiy netted the winning goal in overtime to defeat beat Belarus 1:0.
Austria also won their first two games 3:2 over Belarus and 3:1 against Norway, meaning that this fixture is a match to win the competition.
Puck drop is scheduled for 19:30 Moscow time. Channel 78 will broadcast in Russia.
