Olympic Athletes from Russia - Germany. A statistical look

27 goals at one Olympic tournament is a new record for our team. Previously, the best of 26 was achieved in 1994 and 1998. Overall, this year's goal difference was +18.

Pavel Datsyuk and Ilya Kovalchuk have participated in 29 Olympic matches. This is a new record.

For the first time in modern history, a player from our team became the Olympic top scorer - Nikita Gusev. The forward picked up 12 (4+8) points and took four (2+2) in the gold medal match against Germany. 

Nikita's first goal in the match was our team's 150th in 43 Olympic matches since 1994.

Kirill Kaprizov's winning goal at 68:40 was the latest ever scored in an Olympic final. 

Pavel Datsyuk, Valery Kharlamov and Vyacheslav Fetisov all boast 21 assists at Olympic Games.

Vyacheslav Voynov registered six (2+4) points at the 2018 Olympic Games, the top scoring defenseman on our team after 1994.

In 57 matches with our team, Vasily Koshechkin has earned 36 victories. 

Defenseman Andrei Zubarev owns seven (1+6) from 50 matches with our team.

Sergei Andronov has 11 (5+6) in 40 games for our team, while Nikita Gusev owns an impressive 48 (20+28) from the same amount of games.
