Happy birthday, Viktor Polupanov!

Today, one of the best forwards from the 1960's, 1968 Olympic champion and a four time world champion Viktor Polupanov celebrates his 70th birthday!

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation wishes Viktor a happy birthday, as well as health and family happiness.

Soviet forward, USSR honoured Master of Sports (1968).
Born on the 1st of January 1946  
Started playing for Khimok's NPO Lavochkina Novator team.  
Was invited to HC CSKA Moscow, where he would then spend a large part of his career.
Olympic champion 1968 (7 games 6 goals); four time World champion 1966—1968, 1970.
USSR champion 1966, 1968, 1970-71, silver medalist 1967, 1969, bronze medalist 1973. Played in 293 USSR championship matches, scored 154 goals.
USSR Cup winner 1966—1969. 
European Champions Cup winner 1969—1971.
