The Night Hockey League's gala-match

In Sochi, a Night Hockey League gala-match was held. Legend and amateur teams took part, and Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin dressed up for the Night Hockey League All-Stars. His goal in the second period helped his team to take a 9:5 win.

Partners of the head of Russian State and Soviet and Russian hockey legends took to the ice, with the Night Hockey League president Alexander Yakushev and the Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu both opting to play. The Russian Ice Hockey Federation were represented by its vice-president Roman Rotenberg, who played for the opposing team.
