An international conference concerning sports medicine will be held in Moscow

The "Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation and Training: A Unified Space for Innovative Solutions" conference will take place in Moscow at the Luzhniki Arena between the 22nd and 24th of October.

This will be the ninth edition of the conference.

The conference annually brings together professionals from across Russia and other countries. This year, it will unite over 40 speakers from seven countries including strength and conditioning coaches from the world's top leagues, sports traumatologists, rehabilitation specialists, functional diagnostics experts and nutritionists from Russia, Europe and the Middle East.

Participants include experts working with elite athletes at clubs such as Olimpia Milano, Fiorentina, Atalanta, CSKA, Spartak and Avangard, as well as at leading centres like Isokinetic, Aspetar, FIFA Centres of Excellence and the FMBA National Centre for Sports Medicine.

The conference program will feature a theoretical component, an exhibition of innovative products and equipment for sport, rehabilitation and training monitoring, as well as master classes and panel discussions with athletes. A satellite seminar for sports physicians will be held on 24 October.

For six consecutive years, the international conference organised by the Game Without Injuries project has been included in the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation’s schedule of scientific congresses and conferences. Over this time, it has become a platform for the professional growth and qualification enhancement of coaches, physicians, specialists and practitioners, while also driving further development and innovative research in the field of sport. According to the organisers, collaborative, interdisciplinary projects and events represent the most effective way to address current challenges regarding treatment, athletic training and injury prevention for athletes in Russia.
