Reaction following Russia U20's close win over the SHL

After Russia U20 registered a dramatic triumph over the Student Hockey League (SHL) at the Sibir Arena, our head coach and players shared their impressions.
Russia U20 head coach Andrei Mironov:
"It was a challenging game against a strong, physical opponent. The main thing is that we won. We had expected the SHL to play the game of their lives against us, so there weren't any surprises. Our focus is now on tomorrow's match against Belarus."
Russia U20 forward Maxim Ilyin:
"Naturally enough, this certainly wasn't our best showing. The opponents, on the other hand, performed well and put neat plays together. However, we're happy to take this victory away with us. Thank you to the fans here for their incredible support!"

"The SHL competed hard and set a high tempo. We struggled initially and seemed lost, but we got ourselves together and eventually turned the game around."
