Preliminary Russian national team squad for the Channel One Cup

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation can now reveal the preliminary squad of the Russian national team for the Channel One Cup, which will take place in Novosibirsk between the 11th and 14th of December.
The city's Sibir Arena will host the competition.
These following players have made the preliminary squad:
Goalkeepers: Vladimir Galkin (Avtomobilist), Daniil Isayev (Lokomotiv), Andrei Mishurov, Nikita Serebryakov (both Avangard), Maxim Motorygin, Vladislav Podyapolsky (both Dynamo Moscow), Ilya Nabokov (Metallurg Magnitogorsk), Pavel Khomchenko (Sochi).
