Russia U17 closes series with a sweep

30.08.2025

The start of the game was quite a shock for our team – the Belarusians managed to open the scoring just 30 seconds in. But Andrey Mironov’s players quickly pulled themselves together and equalized within two minutes, led 4:1 by the 10-minute mark, and were up 5:1 by the first intermission. The first line stood out in particular, recording four of the five goals. And Bogdan Yakushevsky went even further, completing a natural hat-trick.

In the second period, the teams took a breather – after forty minutes the score remained the same as after twenty. But in the third, the opponents once again exchanged lightning-fast goals: Belarus scored in the 47th minute, Russia restored the four-goal lead a minute later – and carried the game to a confident victory.
