Seminar concerning the RIHF Register in Saint Petersburg

On 19 May,, a seminar named "New Opportunities and Further Development of the RIHF Registry Information System" was held at the Yubileiny Sports Complex for methodologists of ice hockey schools and clubs in Saint Petersburg.
The event was held by Denis Ledovskikh, the Head of the Registration, Statistics and Registry Department of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF). During the meeting, he presented in detail the key aspects of the system and spoke about the planned changes. The participants discussed current issues related to:
- Updates in the FHR Register information system;
- The procedure for consenting to the processing of personal data;
- Prospects and directions for further development of the system.
The seminar was also attended by Timur Zhairbaev, the Head of the Children's and Youth Competitions Department of the Saint Petersburg Hockey Federation, and Nikolai Stepanov, a specialist in maintaining the RIHF Registry of the St. Petersburg Hockey Federation.
The RIHF Register automated system provides for the collection, storage and processing of information about athletes, coaches and ice hockey specialists throughout the country. The system facilitates more efficient organisation of competitions and the training process.
