RIHF representatives participated in the XVI International Symposium

Between the 28th and 29th of November, the XVI International Symposium concerning Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation was held at the WTC Congress Centre in Moscow under the auspices of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.

he event was attended by representatives of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation.

The main topics of the symposium included the organisation of sports medicine, cardiology, traumatology, post-exercise recovery, anti-doping protection and new areas in sports medicine, such as ophthalmology, dentistry, nephrology and gynecology.

The discussion platform brought together medical specialists, coaches, athletes and representatives of the fitness industry to discuss current issues. Participants could also become acquainted with modern global and domestic developments in the fields of medical equipment, pharmacology and nutraceuticals.

The symposium brought together 1,609 participants from 15 countries and 188 cities, of which 678 people attended in person.
