Vladislav Tretiak
Born on April 25, 1952 in the village of Orudevo, Dmitrovsky District, Moscow Region. President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation since April 25, 2006. Re-elected in 2010 and 2014. Member of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh convocations (since December 2003), member of the United Russia party, member of the State Duma Committee on Health Promotion. Retired Colonel of the Russian Armed Forces.

Playing Career:
From the age of 17 until the end of his playing career, he played for the CSKA team (1969-1984). He made his debut for the USSR national team in 1969 at the Izvestia Prize tournament in a game with Finland. Since 1972 - the main goalkeeper of the national team (1970-1984). Played 128 matches at the World, European, Olympic and Canada Cup tournaments; 482 matches at the USSR championships.
Achievements:
- Three-time Olympic champion (1972, 1976, 1984), silver medalist of the 1980 Winter Olympics.
- 10-time World champion (1970, 1971, 1973-1975, 1978, 1979, 1981-1983), World Championships silver medalist in 1972, 1976, and bronze medalist in 1977.
- 9-time European champion (1970, 1973-1975, 1978, 1979, 1981-1983), European Championship silver (1971, 1972, 1976) and bronze (1977).
- Winner of the 1981 Canada Cup, participant of the 1976 Canada Cup.
- Participant of the Summit Series in 1972, 1974 and 1976.
- Winner of the NHL Challenge Cup in 1979.
- First European ice hockey player to be inducted into the Toronto NHL Hockey Hall of Fame (1989).
- The best hockey player of the XX century according to the International Ice Hockey Federation.
- Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1971).
- Honored Coach of Russia (2002).
- 5 times recognized as the best hockey player of the USSR, three times as the best hockey player in Europe and four times as the best goalkeeper of the world championships.
- 13-time USSR champion (1970-1973, 1975, 1977-1984), silver medalist of the USSR championship in 1974 and 1976.
- Winner of the USSR Cup (1969, 1973) and finalist of the USSR Cup in 1976.
- In 1997, he was among the first to be inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame.
- Entered the IIHF Centennial All-Star Team.
- Member of the Russian Hockey Hall of Fame.

Vladislav Tretyak is the only hockey player to have won the Golden Hockey Club award three times. Vladislav Tretiak won a total of 90 medals, including 3 Olympic gold medals, 10 gold medals for the world championships and 12 gold medals for the European championships.
