Vladislav Tretiak, the President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and a true legend of the sport, celebrates his birthday on April 25th.
During his glittering playing career, the legendary goalkeeper won the Olympic Games three times and the World Championship on 10 occasions. Furthermore, he hoisted aloft the Canada Cup in 1981 and was declared the best player of the 20th century by the International Ice Hockey Federation.
