The Russian women's national team are third at the Four Nations
The senior Russian women's national team have finished in third place of the Four Nations tournament which was held in Sweden. In the final match, head coach Alexei Chistyakov's players took on Sweden.
Elena Dergachyova replied to Sweden's opening goal, but, sadly, our girls had no answer to Sweden's third period push. Two late Swedish goals sealed Russia's fate, leaving the team in third position. Earlier the team had lost to Finland and beaten Germany.
Finland won the competition with nine points, Sweden were second, Russia third and Germany fourth.
