The RIHF extends its condolences

Legendary Canadian forward Bobby Hull has sadly passed away at the age of 84.

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) extends its sincere condolences to Bobby's loved ones.

President of the RIHF Vladislav Tretiak:

- I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Bobby Hull, as well as to the entire ice hockey world. A wonderful person has left us. Among the Canadian players of his generation, Bobby Hull was the main gentleman. He never broke the rules, never played too rough. He treated Soviet players well, respected everyone and even made friends with some. When he participated in the Izvestia Prize matches in Moscow, the local fans always greeted him with well-deserved applause.

I always look at our joint photos with pleasure, I remember how we played against each other. I had a very good relationship with Hull, and his name evokes only good memories. May he rest in peace.
