3-on-3 ice hockey has reached international level

The first 3-on-3 international ice hockey matches have taken place in Saint Petersburg as a part of the Liga Stavok Cup of the Future!
In the maiden game, the under 20 Russian national team thrashed Kazakhstan U20 6:1, with Nikita Chibrikov, Semyon Sinyatkin (2), Daniil Lazutin, Matvei Michkov and German Tochilkin all hitting the jackpot.
Russia U20 then subsequently managed to defeat their Belarusian counterparts too, emerging victorious by a score of 3:2 with Alexander Perevalov, Michkov and Tochilkin scoring.
The competition will continue tomorrow at the Yubileyny Arena.
