2017 Winter Universiade. Russia - Latvia

On the 1st of February, the men's Russian student national team will play their second match of the 2017 Winter Universiade against Latvia.

Our players got off to a perfect at the tournament, destroying South Korea 14:0 in the opening game. However, this fixture promises to be a lot more difficult. Latvia were made to work against Latvia in their first match, but they eventually got the win they craved, sending their opponents down 4:3 in overtime.

Russia have come into this tournament as the reigning Universiade champions, having got the better of Kazakhstan 3:1 in the 2015 final. The coaches will be wanting a similar result this year.

The Russia - Latvia match will begin at 09.30 Moscow time in Kazakhstan. Match TV will broadcast live.
