In the first match of the 2022 Liga Stavok Sochi Hockey Open, the under 25 Russian national team defeated Avangard Omsk 4:3 in a thrilling encounter.

Alexander Volkov, Prokhor Poltapov, Viktor Neuchev and Dmitry Buchelnikov all struck gold for our side, while solid goaltender Sergei Ivanov stopped 39 of the 42 Avangard shots he faced throughout the 60 minutes.
