Valery Bragin: "It was a physical friendly match"

31.03.2017

Russian under 20 national team head coach Valery Bragin shared his opinions about Thursday's friendly match against Russia U18:

- Both teams are in the process of selecting their rosters for April's tournaments. Despite that fact, the players played with full commitment and physicality. After the game, we told five players that they will not be travelling to Slovakia. However, soon another competition will begin in Sochi, so everyone will get their chance. We will play matches against top European teams, and we will see how the players perform at international level.

Three goalkeepers and twenty skaters will travel to the Five Nations tournament in Slovakia. Defensemen Alexander Sevastyanov and Konstantin Chernyuk didn't make the squad, as well as forwards Anton Vasiliev, Anton Nazarevich and Yury Muravyev.
