Russia U20 have won a Five Teams tournament in Slovakia

06.04.2017

Three wins in four matches were enough for the under 20 Russian national team to win a Five Teams tournament in Slovakia.

Russia U20 head coach Valery Bragin:

- I am very satisfied with this tournament. We have looked at the best MHL players. International ice hockey is at a different level, and now the guys have learned just how hard they have to work in order to improve their quality.

At the upcoming Black Sea Cup, we will call up all candidates for the World Junior Championship. It will be interesting to see Vitaly Abramov and Dmitry Sokolov. Also, the World Under 18 Championship is beginning. Russia U20 coach Yury Babenko will be there. We are following all players and wish them luck.
