Russia U16 are starting out at a Three Nations tournament
In the Czech Republic, the under 16 Russian national team will start out at the Three Nations tournament. Their first opponents will be Sweden. In future competition games, Russia will take on Finland (April 15th) and the Czech Republic (April 16th).
Head coach Vladimir Filatov has called up these following players to the roster:
Goalkeepers: Ilya Gorbunov (Traktor), Daniil Chechelev (Vityaz).
Defensemen: Nikolai Burenov (Vityaz), Roman Bychkov, Alexei Goryachev, Alexander Kondratenko (all Lokomotiv), Danil Klimov (Ak Bars), Ivan Rogov (Severstal), Mikhail Stikhanovsky (Yugra), Semyon Chistyakov (Salavat Yulaev).
Forwards: Rodion Amirov, Saveliy Kuvardin (both Salavat Yulaev), Artur Brovkin (Ak Bars), Daniil Guschin, Oleg Zaitsev, Artyom Pugachyov, Rostislav Khaliullin (all Dynamo Moscow), Daniil Zinovyev (Traktor), Ilya Nikolaev, Yaroslav Likhachyov (both Lokomotiv), Ivan Mamin, Vasily Podkozlin (both Vityaz).
The Russia U16 - Sweden U16 match will begin at 16:00 Moscow time. Russia U16 are playing under the support of VTB Bank.
