In the first semi-final of the 2022 Black Sea Cup in Sochi, the Russia U20 Whites defeated the under 18 Russian national team by a score of 4:0 to qualify for the final.
Bogdan Krokhalyov (2), Semyon Sinyatkin and German Tochilkin all hit the target, while goaltender Pavel Kanaev tallied a shutout.
The second semi-final will be held between the Russia U20 Reds and Belarus U20 at 18:00 local time.
