The Russian Olympic team have won the ALROSA Cup!

The Russian Olympic team, made up of young promising Russian players, played their final ALROSA Cup match against Slovenia. Sergei Shumakov and Maxim Mamin missed the game because of injury, while Alexander Barabanov and Kirill Kaprizov were moved to the fourth line.
Our players came flying out of the blocks, scoring two first period goals through Maxim Shalunov and Stepan Sannikov. Artyom Ilenko increased the lead in the second, before Slovenia got two back.
Nevertheless, Alexander Barabanov and Maxim Shalunov scored further goals to seal a 5:3 Russian victory! Winning two out of two at the ALROSA Cup, the team have won the competition!
