Reaction after beating Slovenia at the ALROSA Cup

Russian Olympic team head coach Oleg Bratash:

- We took advantage of our chances and held on to our advantage. However, the opponents punished us for our defensive mistakes. The guys in this team are getting international experience and we have taken a look at a large amount of different players. Artyom Ilenko was orginally the 13th forward, but he is a universal player. I will recommend four players to the senior team head coach.

Russian Olympic team forward Stepan Sannikov:

- It was a tough match today, with both teams fighting until the end. We started well, but we conceded after making errors. I am enjoying witnessing how our young players are developing. It's great that so many fans came to the stadium to support us today.

Russian Olympic team forward Maxim Shalunov:

- Slovenia have a good team with quality players. It's good that we won, however it was a nervy game. I am pleased that I managed to help the team. How did I score? I beat the defenseman and shot on goal.
