Conference at the Russian University of Economics

Specialists of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) participated in the scientific and practical conference concerning modern trends in the development of physical culture and sport at the Russian University of Economics on the 12th and 13th of April.

The conference was attended by leading domestic and foreign scientists, practitioners and students.

Dmitry Polyanchikov, the head of the ice hockey technology department of the RIHF, made a presentation on the topic of the ball hockey being used as an innovative resource for the development of mass physical culture and sport. During the report, a presentation was shown with video materials about the features, rules and format of ball hockey.

A ball hockey tournament using the 3-on-3 format is planned for May. It will be organised by the RIHF and the Russian University of Economics.
