RIHF and Nornickel training camp in Murmansk Region

In Zapolyarny, Murmansk Region, the Russian Icde Hockey Federation (RIHF) and Nornickel held a training camp for children between the 3rd and 5th of March.

Across the three days, the players trained with the guidance of RIHF specialists and world champion Nikita Nikitin.

85 children participated in the training camp which included training sessions both on and off the ice. The sessions were conducted in accordance with the Red Machine National Development Program.

The annual children’s training camp in Zapolyarny is held as part of the plan for the development of ice hockey in the regions of the Far North, which the RIHF has been implementing together with Nornickel since 2019.
