Hockey of the Future practical online conference

Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) employees P. Sheruimov, A. Ivanov, M. Yasenetskaya, E. Sukhachev, D. A. Polyanchikov and A. Bukatin took part in the organisation and staging of the XV All-Russian (with international participation) Hockey of the Future scientific and practical online conference. The conference organisers are the Ministry of Dispute of the Russian Federation and the P. F. Lesgaft National State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Health.

The conference touched upon a wide range of issues including the system of coaching young players, the organisation of training and the competitive processes of professional ice hockey players and the management of coaching and training specialists in modern conditions. Particular attention was paid to various aspects of biomedical, psychological and pedagogical support for the system of ice hockey training.

At the conference, reports were presented showing the results, experience and prospects for the implementation of the Red Machine National Development Program. As a part of the implementation of the program, the RIHF has been cooperating with sporting organisations in Saint Petersburg over the course of three seasons.
