We take a look at the statistics to emerge from the quarter-final of the 2022 Olympic Games between the ROC men's ice hockey team and Denmark (3:1):
- In the 47th Olympic match since 1994, our national team earned the 30th victory;
- Our players went 233 minutes and one second without conceding against the Danes at this year's tournament, a record for our national team against one particular Olympic opponent since 1992;
- Boasting eight (3+5) points in 15 competition appearances, Vyacheslav Voynov is our team's top scoring defenseman at the Olympics since 1994;
- Taking into account the World Championship, Olympic Games and the World Cup, forward Nikita Gusev has now contributed with 51 (16+35) points for the senior national team.
