2022 Olympic Games. ROC - Switzerland

The ROC men's ice hockey team will compete against Switzerland in the maiden match of the group stage of the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
Three goalkeepers, eight defensemen and 14 forwards have been included in the registered squad for the tourmament by head coach Alexei Zhamnov.
This is indeed the opening game of the tournament for both teams. ROC are the reigning Olympic champions having previously won the competition in 2018 in South Korea.
Puck-drop is scheduled for 11:40 Moscow time. Rossiya 1 will provide a live television broadcast in Russia.
