Sergei Plotnikov and Artyom Anisimov have arrived in Beijing

ROC forwards Sergei Plotnikov and Artyom Anisimov have joined the men's national team in China ahead of the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Forward Sergei Plotnikov:

- I don't know what happened to the test which I took before I flew here, as I had received negative tests results for quite some time before that. Furthermore, my subsequent tests were also negative. I have been following the plan which our physical conditioning coach gave us, I feel great and I'm ready to train with the team. It was nice to hear that Alexei Zhamnov and Ilya Kovalchuk are counting on me as a key player, I understand that I can't let the coaches down.

Forward Artyom Anisimov:

- I caught the virus on January 10. After that, the team decided for me to join up with the group at a later date, so I spent more time in Moscow. I'm a reserve player? This is the Olympic Games, I simply have to wait for my opportunity and be ready to play. We are a united team with one goal. At this competition, we will try to make all Russian fans happy!
