2022 World Junior Championship. Russia - Sweden

The under 20 Russian national team will today compete against Sweden in the opening match of the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship.
In a friendly match ahead of the tournament, our players competed with the Canadians, conceding a 2:4 defeat in Edmonton. They subsequently made the trip to Red Deer on December 24.
Slovakia, Switzerland and the USA are also competing in Group B.
Puck-drop is scheduled for 00:30 Moscow time. Channel One wil provide a live television broadcast in Russia.
