2021 Channel One Cup. Russia - Finland. A statistical look

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation takes a look at the statistics to emerge from the concluding match of the 2021 Channel One Cup between Russia and Finland (2:3 OT) in Moscow:
- This year, five goals were scored by four Russian defensemen at the second stage of the Euro Hockey Tour, as Vyacheslav Voynov (twice), Alexander Elesin, Nikita Nesterov and Artyom Minulin all hit the target;
- In 65 games for the senior Russian national team, forward Nikita Gusev has picked up 80 (26+54) points. He is consequently the 11th Russian player to register a minimum of 80 points at senior international level;
- Vyacheslav Voynov has recorded 22 (7+15) points in 40 matches for the senior national team;
- Forwards Alexander Kadeikin (1+3) and Pavel Karnaukhov (3+4) both participated in their 20th match for the senior Russian national team;
- In 25 Euro Hockey Tour games, fellow forward Vladimir Tkachyov has scored five goals and dished out 10 assists;
- Both of Artyom Minulin's goals for the senior Russian national team have been scored against Finland with Harri Sateri in the opposing net.
