European Youth Olympic Festival. Finland U18 - Russia U17 - 4:3

In the concluding match of the European Youth Olympic Festival, the under 17 Russian national team came up short against the Finnish hosts, conceding a narrow 3:4 defeat.

Alexander Rykov, Ilya Polyakov and Ivan Demidov tallied the Russian goals.

As a consequence of this result, Russia have finished in third position of the tournament. Finland became the champions, while Belarus claimed second spot.
