In the third match of the 2021 European Youth Olympic Festival in Finland, the under 17 Russian national team managed to defeat the under 18 Latvian national team by a comfortable score of 3:0.

Kirill Dolzhenkov, Ilya Rogovsky and Timur Mukhanov struck gold during the second period, while reliable goaltender Yegor Zavragin stopped all eight Latvian shots he faced.

Russia will now prepare to take on the Finnish hosts on December 17. Puck-drop is scheduled for 13:30 Moscow time.
