Ahead of the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship, under 20 Russian national team head coach Sergei Zubov spoke to the media:
Russia U20 head coach Sergei Zubov:
- I would like to thank the Russian Ice Hockey Federation for the faith shown in me. I am happy with the players' shape, we're continuing to prepare for the tournament. It's great to see how the guys are displaying desire and character. We are feeling optimistic about the World Junior Championship. Our players in the North American junior leagues? We will reveal the names of the players who we are talking to on December 14.
