Ice Hockey Module. A joint project between the RIHF and the Promo-M school
A joint project named the Ice Hockey Module between the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and the Promo-M school is being launched.
Within the framework of the cooperation agreement, the RIHF and the Promo-M Secondary School of Moscow are implementing the Ice Hockey Module project. This module is carried out as part of a physical education lesson in which children become familiar with playing ice hockey. At the same time, the program of the module - in addition to practical exercises in the gym - is undertaken using the means of playing floorball and also includes theoretical lessons in the classroom, in which students get acquainted with the history of the development of world and domestic ice hockey, the rules of the game, famous players and coaches and many interesting facts about the sport.

The module was prepared by the RIHF together with the Federal Centre for the Organisational and Methodological Support of Physical Education with the approval of the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation.
The RIHF presented the children with a set of floorball equipment. At the same time, the program includes practical lessons on the ice to master basic skating skills and the technique of using a stick and puck. This project is of great social importance, one of the key tasks of which is to increase the level of health and interest in physical culture, sport and ice hockey in particular.
