The RIHF and Nornickel are continuing to hold seminars for coaches and referees

Between the 10th and 12th of November, a seminar for coaches and referees was held in Norilsk.

Specialists from Norilsk, Dudinka and the Pechenga District of Murmansk Region participated in the event.



On November 10 Viktor Birin, a referee of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), shared his professional experiences with the referees at the event and held a practical training session on the ice.



The topics of the coaching module, which took place on the 11th and 12th of November, focused on the specifics of the training process for goalkeepers. Experts of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) conducted a practical session on the ice using techniques of the Red Machine National Development Program, which was used as the information base for the seminar.





The seminars in Norilsk, which have been running since October 2019, are organised by the RIHF and Nornickel. They are aimed at increasing the professional qualifications of regional specialists, while also promoting ice hockey and a healthy lifestyle in general.
